Major Activities:

VISIT & MEDITATE AT SCENIC DANXIA MOUNTAIN

The Danxia Mountain, or Chinese red stone park, located in Shaoguan, Guangdong, covers 290 square kilometers of scenic area with the most beautiful scenery. Danxia Mountain is composed of over 600 red glu-tinite rocks with flat peaks, a precipitous body and gradual foot of mountain featuring a red wall and cliff. It is famous for its imposing Yangyuan Stone, grotesque Yingyuan Stone, serene Jinshi Rock, beautiful Jinjiang and steep Bazhai¡.

Danxia Mountain is also famous for its Buddhist temples. The Nanhua Zen Temple was built in 502 A.D.. Huineng, the sixth ancestor of Zen (638-713), advocated Buddhism here for 37 years. The Scripture of the Sixth Ancestor, the only classics of Chinese Buddhism, was born in this temple. As the temple enshrines and worships the real body of Huineng, the sixth ancestor, it is known as "ancestral temple". The temple now preserves over 300 pieces of national level-1 cultural relics including the true body of the sixth ancestor Huinen, the imperial edict of Empress Wu Zetian of Tang Dynasty and wood carving arhat of North Song Dynasty. We will tour the major scenic sites at Danxia mountain, gathering qi and meditating at the famous Yang-yuan stones, and paying our respects to the real body of the sixth ancestor of Zen (Huineng).

VISIT & MEDITATE AT SACRED DAOIST SITES

Luofu Mountain, one of the 10 most famous mountains of China, is located in the eastern Guangdong Province and covers 250 kilometers. Among the Daoists¡¯ "Grotto Heavens and Blissful Realms," it is the seventh Grotto Heaven. This is an area steeped in Chinese history and tradition.

Luofu Mountain is surrounded by beautiful moun-tains. It has a very strong Qi field with 1800 years of continuous Dao cultivation by numerous ac-complished Daoists. There are four famous Daoist temples on Mt. Luofu: Chongxu Temple, Baihe Temple, Jiutian Temple, and Huanglong Temple.

In the past 1000 years, many Daoists have accom-plished their cultivation here. The renowned Dao-ists, Ge Hong and his wife Baogu, led secluded lives and cultivated Dao on this mountain. During his cultivation in Mt. Luofu, Ge Hong gained great insight on the theories of Daoism and wrote a classic Daoist book: "Baopuzi" (literally, "The Master Embracing Simplicity"). This mountain became a well-visited site in China because of this book.

Luofu Mountain is a pilgrimage site for Qigong practitioners who want to enhance their practice and pursue the essence of the Dao.

Master He will lead the group practice and perform the "seeding ritual" for each participant at the mid-night of lunar November 5th.

Veteran students of Five-Element Qigong from Liuzhou and Shantou cities will come to Luofu Mountain to exchange experiences on qigong anti-cancer therapy, and meditate with the group.
