Hello, since I get excellent results by regular practice I wish to introduce my father and one my good friend to Taiji Five Elements qi gong .Both of them have metallic pieces, hip replacement for my father and a metal rod in the leg for my friend . They don't have any problems with those. Is metal in the body a complete contraindication or relative one? If the person need to take special medication in order not to reject the foreign body then I can understand the reason why it is not recommended .But if the person is completely fine with the metal does the caution still apply. If so what do you recommend as a good alternative practice? I have the same question regarding pacemaker. Thanks for your help Claudine Message was created on 7/20/2006 4:58:32 AM |
