I have been practicing the magnification/standing meditation for quite sometime. At the beginning of my practice I was combining most of the time 1 hour manification and 1 hour classical. As my condition got better of my fatigue I am down to just doing standing meditation. Is this o.k. Although with me it always turns out that I end up in a horizontal position on the floor and this has been going on for a while. Is this also 0.k. Is it that I need to develop more strenght standing. Please enlighten me. Thank you Message was created on 8/9/2005 2:52:16 PM |

Hi Nilda, If you're feeling well I would say it's ok to just practice standing meditation. However I would recommend that you include classical meditation at least a few times per week. At the very least I would do a few minutes of simple mindfulness meditation to add a yin complement to the yang nature of magnification. Ending up lying of the floor is fine. If your energy moves you into that direction then follow it. It sounds like your practice is going well and you are naturally moving into meditation. keep up the good work, ken Message was created on 8/11/2005 8:49:21 AM |

To Ken Andes: Thank you for your guidance. This is the first concrete and clear answer on this question I had for a while. Message was created on 8/12/2005 11:54:56 AM |
