Evan Pugh Professor of the Solid State Emeritus,
Welcome to this unique international symposium on self-healing and
biofield therapies!
Three groups of attendees will surely benefit from the World
Symposium on Self-Healing and Consciousness Power. First, those who are
already aware of the benefits of some practice for self-healing. They
will find a rich mix of new data, examples of various WPH practices, and
new friends and colleagues. The second group includes physicians and
scientists who come with a genuine openness to the new. They will be very
fully rewarded by papers, personal witnesses, and demonstrations. The
last group may consist of appropriately critical, even skeptical,
scientists. For them, many of the papers and demonstrations are certain
to raise the possibility that, with such eminent scientists involved, it
is no longer possible to brush off the facts. Hence, it may be time to be
scientific and check it out.
Every good wish,

Welcome to the "The First World Symposium on Self-Healing and Consciousness
Power". With your support and participation, this historical symposium will
start soon. On behalf of the World Institute for Self-Healing, all co-sponsors,
and the organizing committee, I sincerely appreciate your attendance and
support!
This unique symposium has received great support from US government officials,
the White House Committee on Complementary and Alternative Medicine, and
scientists and medical practitioners from around the world. It is their strong
support and genuine care that make this symposium a reality. I would like to
extend my utmost thanks to all of them.
The symposium will gather and exchange realistic and practical information
regarding self-healing and consciousness power, which will enhance our
abilities to eliminate diseases. This will help us understand more about
ourselves, and our self-healing and consciousness potential. We need to
gather more important data and information in order to develop a new medicine
of drug-free therapy without side effects.
In the process of calling for papers, I am pleased to see so many experienced
doctors and researchers working toward the same goal as WISH to explore new
ways in "alternative and complementary therapies." They all have realized the
limitations of the traditional medical approach, abandoned the old-fashioned
way of thinking, and worked on alternatives to improve our medical approach and
human health. Many of them have gathered valuable data. I congratulate them
for making so many breakthroughs in the medical field.
This symposium will also serve as a bridge between the east and west for
academic exchange and collaboration. It will combine the best of both in
working on ways to improve human health with the alternative
therapy approach, and in searching for safe solutions to our ultimate goal -
health and longevity. This symposium will also quench our desire to know more
about our own physical health and ways to combat diseases.
I believe the new knowledge and ideas that we are gathering at the symposium
will give us a general picture on the future of medical approach. They will
definitely have a major impact on new medical development in this new
millenium.
May the symposium be a great success!
